Description

Screen Region Blockout v2 – Standard Pro and Anonymous Pro Licences

This product is for an upgrade licence for the Screen Region Blockout v2 Chrome extension.

Screen Region Blockout helps you visually mask distracting, irrelevant, or private areas of a webpage. Instead of removing page elements or interfering with website functionality, SRB places visual blockout regions over selected areas of the page.

This can be useful for reducing visual noise, improving focus, or hiding sensitive information before taking screenshots.

SRB is not an ad blocker. Websites that detect ad blockers should generally continue to function normally.

Standard Edition

The Standard licence is designed for users who want more flexibility than the Lite version.

Standard includes:

  • up to 8 regions per page;
  • up to 3 saved webpages;
  • up to 3 profiles;
  • access to multiple blockout effects;
  • basic screenshot capability;
  • fixed SRB watermark;
  • signed profile import/export;
  • Common Region Suggestions Beta;
  • single-device activation.

Standard users also contribute anonymised region-pattern data during profile export to help improve future common-region suggestions.

Anonymous Edition

The Anonymous licence is the full-featured version of SRB.

Anonymous includes:

  • up to 9999 regions per page;
  • up to 30 saved webpages;
  • up to 10 profiles;
  • up to 10 device activations;
  • all available blockout effects;
  • advanced effect controls;
  • screenshot capability;
  • custom watermark support;
  • removable/customisable watermark settings;
  • signed profile import/export;
  • Common Region Suggestions Beta;
  • optional Anonymous Referral System.

Anonymous users do not contribute anonymised analytics.

Common Region Suggestions Beta

Common Region Suggestions can suggest frequently blocked regions on supported websites.

Suggestions are:

  • optional;
  • shown as previews first;
  • never applied automatically;
  • available to Standard and Anonymous users.

Because webpage layouts can change between screen sizes and responsive designs, this feature is currently considered Beta.

Signed profile import/export

Standard and Anonymous users can export and import signed SRB profile data.

This allows users to back up or transfer:

  • profiles;
  • saved page-region data;
  • profile layouts.

Signed imports help protect against altered or corrupted profile files. If a profile import has been modified after export, SRB will reject it.

Anonymous Referral System

Anonymous licence holders may optionally create a referral link from inside the extension’s Register page.

A referral code is not automatically issued at checkout. If an Anonymous user does not want to use the referral system, no action is required.

To use the referral system, an Anonymous user can:

  1. open the SRB Register page;
  2. enter their Anonymous licence key;
  3. enter their PayPal payout email address;
  4. save or retrieve their referral link;
  5. copy and share the referral link.

The referral code remains linked to the Anonymous licence. The payout email can be updated later from the Register page.

Referral correspondence is kept minimal. Routine referral emails are not sent simply because a referral link is created. If a referral commission is earned, the user may receive a message such as “You have received a referral commission”, or the information may be shown inside the extension in a future update.
