We’re a family of six in regional Queensland – soon to have another adorable addition.
We have the land, the basics, and the plans… but we need help building proper bedrooms for our kids.

Our Situation
Hi, we’re jaysndees – a family built around The Dees (parents) and The Jays (our four kids).
We live on a small acreage near Gympie in Queensland. Over time, we’ve worked hard to build a functional home environment – we have a working kitchen, a bathroom, clean water, and power.
Recently, we found out we’re expecting another baby in September 2026.
While we’re incredibly excited, it has also made one thing very clear:
We simply don’t have enough proper bedroom space for our children.
Why This Matters
Right now, our kids are sharing limited space that isn’t designed for long-term living.
- Mid-teen boy
- Nearly 11-year-old boy
- 4-year-old twins (boy & girl)
As they grow, privacy, comfort, and personal space become more important — not just for sleep, but for development, routine, and wellbeing.
With another baby on the way, the situation becomes even more urgent.
What We’re Trying to Build
I (D1) have already drawn up the plans – what we’re missing is the funding to bring them to life.
Some basic work has been completed – there is still much more to do though.

Bedroom construction
- J1 – relocate, renovate, re-roof
- J2 – full redesign
- J3 & J4 – shared bedroom + toy area build

- Currently minimising excess items and packing into storage to keep only the operational essentials available
